FIFA - Toronto Host City 2026

As someone who admittedly only started watching the world cup in 2026, I’m surprisingly very moved by the sport and passion that I saw on screen and around me.

From a design perspective, the sport caught my eye - from the sea of colours in the stadium, the geometric patterns in the field and net, the movements of the players to aerial shots, I felt inspired to illustrate and recreate these compositions.

It was also beautiful to see people from all over the world feel unified through sport, especially living in a melting pot like Toronto and being a host city.

This series is a collection of visual moments that struck a chord with me. The negative space in these was really fun to explore, to pick and choose which details I wanted to highlight and include.
