I created this piece for a Dove event for their Cost of Beauty Campaign. The event and panel’s theme was how social media affects mental health. (Highly recommend watching the video on Youtube)
I wanted to show how seeing images of perfection and constantly consuming curated identities can impact self esteem. I drew dotted outlines of faces with incomplete features to symbolize how social media personas are only a shell of a person. There is so much more to someone than the face they share online with the world.
With this artwork, I tried to capture the pressure to look perfect for our youth. It’s important to ground yourself outside of the online realm and understand how multi faceted young women are outside of our appearance. We have so much more to offer that isn’t seen on social media. We must strive to cultivate a culture that supports young women’s talents, ambitions and dreams that go beyond likes and comments.

“Toronto To The World” is inspired by the creative community in the city. This piece was one of the winning pieces from a contest about showcasing what Toronto means to visual artists. It was on display at the Footlocker, 306 Yonge St (Downtown Toronto) location. This piece showcases how my friends and their own creative ventures inspire me everyday. Art imitates life, or is it the other way around?
For the 60th Anniversary of the Doc Martens’ 1461 Shoe, I was tasked to paint 4 pairs combining my aesthetic and influencer’s styles. Each design has a unique inspiration and colour way, while all of them share common elements like asymmetry and a teardrop.
Full photos of each pair are under the Sneakers tab.
For a Kappa Campaign involving multiple creatives from Toronto, I created a mural that reflected community and coming together. One side of the wall was painted with my design while the other side was painted by Shayna. We worked together to create a design that complimented each other’s styles while being inspired by Kappa’s reflection-like logo.
This mural lives at Cold Tea Bar in Toronto.

In collaboration with Converse and Footlocker, this pair is inspired by my hometown Scarborough, Toronto. The prompt was “what does your neighbourhood mean to you?” and within the artwork, I answered with community, diversity and acceptance. The Remix 15.0 team was challenged with the task to create a video showcasing the new OVO Raptors jerseys. The video narrates a story of how creatives from Toronto come together through art, fashion, sport and music. Through determination and passion, from our boundless dreams as children into our reality as young adults. Community over everything.
